Winter Park Bark

Experienced and novice participants will compete with their dogs on our skijor loop, making one or two 5 Km laps. The race will have solo starts at 30-second intervals, and awards will be given to top overall finishers in each distance and dog class. Pups will be awarded with treats!

Family members of racers may purchase Daily Passes for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing, and ice skating at half-price all race weekend!

Races, Divisions, & Classes

The Event is comprised of two Races, each with two Divisions:

  • 10 Km + Two Dogs
  • 10 Km + One Dog
  • 5 Km + Two Dogs
  • 5 Km + One Dog

There will be no separate classes for gender, age, dog breed, or otherwise.

8:30 AM – Chalet Opens for Bib Pick-up & Late Registration

9:30 AM – Racer Meeting in Chalet

10:00 AM – Winter Park Bark Skijor Races Begin in 30-Second-Interval Starts

11:00 AM – All Races Completed. Time of Post-Race Meeting & Awards Announced


Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each division and age class. An awards ceremony will be held for the 12 overall winners.
