“Pre” Bob Pace Memorial Skate

Robert “Bob” Pace

While we wait for snow, let’s take advantage of the buttery smooth ice conditions and log some kilometers on the lake! Strap on your ice skates or Nordic blades and skate along a pre-marked course on beautiful Lake Minocqua. Log your time and distance with a GPS or App (such as Strava) to challenge your friends or just have fun!

Sunday, December 13th 11:00am at Torpy Park

Donations are much appreciated

We ask that participants wear a mask when when 6 foot social distancing is not possible. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. Thank You!

Robert “Bob” Pace

Bob Pace’s passions lived on the lakes and in the woods; he was a true outdoorsman. He loved water skiing, cross country skiing, downhill and telemark skiing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, kite-surfing, mountain-biking, and playing tennis; if he could strap it on, he would do it. He was a cornerstone of the local ski community: many years ago, he designed and built the ski jumps at Minocqua Winter Park. (Photos and Obituary courtesy of Bolger Funeral)
