Park Info for Non-Racers
Nearly all cross-country ski trails will be open during the Winter Park Bark Skijor Race, with tracking rules in effect until about Noon. If you see a racer, please yield to them.
The course is the Skijor Loop, which uses much of the Cookie Loop and adjacent trails like Red Pine.
Caution should be exercised during the entire race, lasting approximately 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
To avoid racers almost entirely, we encourage skiers to use the 8KM Loop, River Run, Creek Trail, X-C Express, Lake Marie, and Wolf Tracks ski trails.
Snow tubing, snowshoeing, and ice skating will not be affected by the Squirrel Hill Skiathlon races.
