Park Founders, Season Pass Holders and Lifetime Members are eligible to vote in Board elections and to serve on the board and implement the Vision, Mission and Values of the Park.

Minocqua Winter Park is a community of winter sports enthusiasts that runs a multi-sport part which creates opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience unforgettable winter fun.
We are driven by a shared enthusiasm for winter sports and the outdoors as well as a desire to benefit the Lakeland community. Together, we value health, nature, enjoyment, personal growth, sharing our passion and the maintenance of a venue that provides experiences of unparalleled quality.
Corporate Governance Structure
The Board is responsible for managing two corporations and hiring a General Manager to develop, plan and oversee the operations of the facility.
Most business operations of the park, including season passes and memberships, fall under the Lakeland Ski Touring Foundation (LSTF), a 501(c) (4) non-for-profit community civic organization.
Fundraising events, skier development programs and the maintenance of grooming equipment and the trail system are conducted by the Minocqua Winter Part Trail Fund (MWPTF), a 501(c) (3) charitable corporation.

Board Member Expectations
The board of Directors of Minocqua Winter Park is organized as a working board. Members of the Board are expected to be “hands on”, active participants in the work of the Park. Board members are expected to:
- Implement the mission of the organization
- Serve a three year term
- Remain members in good standing for the duration of their elected term
- Sit on at least one board committee
- Attend regular monthly meetings
- Attend the Annual Membership Meeting
- Encourage participation in and volunteer at MWP events and programs
All candidates in Minocqua Winter Park’s Board Elections must meet the following requirements:
- Be a member in good standing
- Be at least 18 years old
- Submit a completed application at least 30-days prior to the Annual Membership Meeting, no later than February 5, 2021
There is no residency requirement of candidates or board members.

February 8, 2021 Ballot and Candidate profiles distributed
All candidate applications will be compiled and shared with the membership in a timely manner in advance of the Annual Meeting
March 6, 2021 Annual Membership & Officer Election Meeting
Pick-up and drop off your ballot at the ticket window between 9 am.-5 pm. The Annual Membership Meeting starts at 5:15 pm.

All members who are interested in serving on Minocqua Winter Park’s 2021/2022 Board of Directors must complete and submit this application no later than February 5, 2021.
In a timely manner, all applications will be compiled and all candidate profiles will be shared with the membership in advance of the Annual Membership Meeting.
