NEWSFLASH: Until further notice Ski-Joring with dogs at MWP has been suspended. We're trying to overcome the insurance issues associated with this decision and hope that you bear with us as we try to resolve it.

March 6th, 2010  Lakeland Loppet

Now in it’s 35th year the Lakeland Loppet is one of Wisconsin’s longest running cross-country ski races.   On Saturday, March 6th citizens of all ages are invited to take part in this fund-raising event at Minocqua Winter Park.  For ages 13 and up there is a choice of 8K classic, 8K freestyle, 25K classic, 25K freestyle, 8Kclassic and 25K classic best of both, and an 8K freestyle and 25K freestyle. There is a 4K and a 2K for the younger kids, and if you’re not a racer you can sign up for the 8K or 25K tours.
