Choose the giving option that works best for you!
Year-end donations are simply the funds, assets and/or items donated to our nonprofit foundation at the end of the year. Individuals who itemize deductions on their taxes may be eligible to claim a charitable contribution deduction against their taxable income after making a year-end gift. Please see below for further information on the many ways you can support the Foundation.
Donors 70 ½ years or older can donate to Minocqua Winter Park Foundation through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from their taxable IRA. QCDs are commonly referred to as IRA charitable distributions or IRA charitable rollovers. Donating through a QCD has the potential of satisfying RMD requirements without having to pay income tax on the amount donated. The QCD must be transferred directly from the donor’s IRA to MWPF by the RMD deadline.
Please let us know at finance@minocquawinterpark.org if you are making a donation via QCD.
Minocqua Winter Park Foundation directly accepts donations of stocks and securities. In addition to supporting the Foundation, donors of stock and securities benefit from a charitable deduction and potential elimination of tax on capital gains.
Please contact us at finance@minocquawinterpark.org if you are interested in donating stock or securities.
Make a gift through your will or estate plan. Please contact us at finance@minocquawinterpark.org to let us know how you have included the Minocqua Winter Park Foundation in your estate plan.
