Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Although our chalet might be closed the park is open to hiking, running, and Biking. For information on what trails are open in the summer have a look at our trails page.

Currently we have 4 pieces of grooming equipment for the ski trails:

PistenBully 100 - Brand new in 2022, this world class snowcat with power tiller is the top choice for grooming Nordic ski trails. Providing world class quality grooming with crisp corduroy and deep classic tracks.

Mueller Tiller - We have one rear-mounted power tiller, with track-setters, for our large tractor. Great for busting up icy trails.

ABR Drag - We have two drags, with track setters, that get pulled behind our small tractor and John Deere Gator. Great for touching up skate decks and grooming the narrow single-track classic trails.

Trails are groomed on a fairly regular basis especially after snowfall, heavy traffic, or freeze/thaw cycles. Grooming is almost always done overnight between 6pm and 6am. This gives the trails enough time to set up before skiers get out to the park.

There are lots of factors that groomers need to take into account before they groom including snow temperature, snow saturation levels, and the timing of any snowfall.

Yes! Dogs are welcome on all snowshoe trails. Please keep your pups leashed at all times and pick up after them and pack out any waste. There are pet waste stations located at both snowshoe trailheads.

Absolutely! We have some great beginner-friendly loops of varying distances from 2km to about 11km. We have two loops in particular that offer great motivation along the way:

The 2km Bunny Loop features 8 interactive stations along the way with educational, and sometimes silly, activities and trivia. Themes change every two weeks.

The 5km Cookie Loop is a great option for those with a sweet tooth. Pick up a punch card and stop and collect punches at all 5 mailboxes to receive a free cookie back at the Chalet.

Season passes are called memberships and can be purchased here.
