Get ready for the SIXTH Annual version of the Gravel Bike Race! This year, distances are measured in Kilometers (Imperial Miles in subtext). Routes traverse surrounding gravel roads and interior ski trails at Minocqua Winter Park.
Fall Drive Up Days
Event • October 3rd & 4th; 10th & 11th; 17th & 18th
Join us for THREE WEEKENDS of Fall Drive Up Days where you can experience the best view in the Northwoods without the 170′ vertical hike to the top! Weather permitting, we’ll be open three weekends to ensure a hit on peak leaf color season—we open the gate to allow vehicle traffic up to the tippy top of Squirrel Hill to enjoy the stunning north-facing view of the surrounding area. It’s the best place to view the fall colors.
Buck Rut Run

The Buck Rut Run returns to Minocqua Winter Park for its 31st edition! Will this be the last? The Buck Rut Run celebrated it's 30th edition last year. For the past 5 years we have hovered around 35 participants, with a goal of 50 each year. In 2025 we hit 43, still short of our goal. This event raises money for Minocqua Winter Park and the Lakeland Union High School Cross Country Team. No fee is charged by the timer and all proceeds are divided between these two organizations. The decision has been made by the race organizers that from this point forward, a race that doesn't have at least 50 entries will be the last Buck Rut Run. 2026 IS HAPPENING, 2027 is up to you and your friends!
