Held on Saturdays throughout the fall months, Volunteer Trail Work Days offer the chance to roll up your sleeves and help staff with trail maintenance projects around the park. No experience is necessary and it's a great opportunities for groups and families to get involved too. We offer projects for all ages and ability levels.
Past projects include:
- Spreading seed and installing straw mats on the tubing hill, Squirrel's Tail, and Base Loop
- Rock picking on freshly graded sections of ski trails
- Wood splitting and stacking at the trailside fire pits
- Trimming brush and overhanging branches from ski and snowshoe trails
2023 Work Day Schedule:
Dates: Saturday October 14th, 21st, 28th / November 4th
Times: 9am-12pm
Location: Meet at Chalet Parking Lot
*Special Full Day Workday on October 14th 90am-3pm - Wood Splitting and Trail work extravaganza. Chili and cornbread provided for lunch!
