Cancellation of Wolf Tracks Rendezvous 2024

The trails crew went out to inspect the race course, and reported back with disappointing news. Due to the thin snow and predicted warm weather, Minocqua Winter Park is canceling Wolf Tracks Rendezvous 2024. We are grateful for all the sponsors, volunteers, and skiers who chose to race with us this year and we wish the circumstances were different. 

Although the conditions cannot support a race, we hope you still consider joining us for a day of fun for skiers and their families. We are planning on-snow activities, games, and challenges and will still provide a meal for skiers and volunteers on Feb 3. The Minocqua Winter Park Ski Shop will be open. Every item in the Ski Shop will be on sale on Feb 3 and Feb 4 2024, and select skis will be 60% off. We will keep you posted on the day’s events with full details coming soon.

Highlights of the day include: Base Loop Challenge (self-timed), Beer/Beverage/Cookie Punch Card Trail, Tea House S’mores Bar, Obstacle Course, Scrabble Hike, Yard Games, and Disc Golf Putting Challenge.

These activities may be altered depending on weather and snow conditions, but rest assured, there will be plenty of fun to be had at the park!

Will my registration fees be refunded? Can I defer my registration until next year?

Unfortunately, we cannot refund your registration fee or defer registration to next year's race. Minocqua Winter Park is a not-for-profit with a mission to promote wellness lifestyle, personal growth, passion for cross country skiing and other outdoor sports. The registration fees collected goes towards trail/facility improvements, youth ski programs, education, and more! 

If you would still like to race with us this year, we can offer skiers registered for Wolf Tracks 2024 free registration to the Squirrel Hill Loopy Loppet held on Saturday, March 2nd 2024. 

How will I receive my giveaway?

You can pick up your giveaway from the Chalet on Saturday, February 3rd, or any day afterward. We are working on a way to ship giveaways for a fee, and will be in contact with those details soon.
