Minocqua Winter Park, in coordination with the Northwoods Land Trust and the Town of Minocqua, is proud to announce the newest addition to the park's summer recreation opportunities: The Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course!
*Now Open For Test Flights! All long and short baskets have bow been installed. Concrete tee pads not poured yet, but dirt pads are level and very throw-able*
*Tentative grand opening date: Spring 2024*
Course Description
Our goal is to make Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course a premier destination course, complimenting several other remarkable courses in the area. The 18-hole course features both short and long basket positions for each hole. Play your way along the ski trails through beautiful pine and hardwood forests. You'll emerge onto the old alpine ski hill, where you can take a moment at the top of Squirrel Hill under the historic Fire Tower to enjoy a tremendous view. Continue down a second alpine ski slope leading to the back nine.

Location
- Minocqua Winter Park is located at 7543 Squirrel Hill Rd / Minocqua, WI
- Parking is located at the lot outside the main gate near the information kiosk
- Hole 1 is located near the back of the parking area - look for the directional signs
Support The Course
Now is the time to get involved! We need funding and volunteers to keep our project on schedule. We need to raise $21,000 to construct the course and purchase 37 Innova DISCatcher 28 Pro permanent baskets.

Volunteer Opportunities
Help us out at one of our course construction volunteer workdays. Tasks include brush hauling, raking, brush cutting, limbing, weed whacking etc.
Upcoming workday: Friday, August 25th @9am - park at exterior parking lot and walk around the yellow gate to hole 18. We will be hauling and chipping debris on this hole.
